COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – While much of the focus for Black Friday shopping was on big box stores and on-line deals, it appears local retailers in the Coldwater area had good traffic as well. It all adds up to an optimism for the 2015 shopping season, according to Brad Rockey of Kiess Jewelry in Coldwater, who’s also chairman of the Downtown Development Authority board and the incoming chairman of the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Saturday is Small Business Saturday nationwide, and Rockey says local hometown business rely on support from community shoppers.
