BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Varsity Girls Swim and Dive team won a six-team meet at Harper Creek on Saturday. The Lady Cards competed finished first with 308.5 points followed by Mattawan with 270 points, Harper Creek-with 262 1/2, Marshall with 237, Kalamazoo Central with 163 and Battle Creek Central 127.
Coldwater came home with three individual wins as well. Charlotte Calhoun, competing in her first 11 dive meet of the year, came home with the victory and a team record for 11 dives. Jillian McKinley also won the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke. The Lady Cards also won two of the three relays. Randi Dudek, Anna DeMeester, McKinley and Masyn Marsh won the 200 Medley relay with a season best swim. McKinley, DeMeester, Marsh and Dudek won the 200 Freestyle relay and they also broke the team record. McKinley also broke the 50 Free team record with her split in the relay. Coldwater swim their last regular season meet on Tuesday against Portage Northern at the Browne Aquatic Center.
