WASHINGTON DC (WKZO AM/FM) – The holiday season gets underway in about a month, and experts are urging those who serve the traditional ham or turkey to look now and buy now.
Supplies are low on those food , and some stores are having a hard time keeping the items in stock.
One store reported that, as they received hams to sell, customers would snap them up within a day or so.
In addition, the dishes that complement the main course may disappear quickly as well.
The shortage is being blamed on supply chain difficulties, but also on a shortage of truck drivers to deliver the products.
