BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – To say the weather was soggy and just flat out miserable during the month of October would be an understatement.
More rain fell on Friday and Saturday as the damp and dreary weather continued.
Besides all of the rain, there was very little sunshine. The sun only shined on eight days in Coldwater during October according to the Weather Channel.
Out of the 31 days in October, it rained in Branch County on 17 days.
The M.S.U. Extension Service weather station rain gauge at the Bloom Dairy Farm west of Coldwater measured 7.61 inches of rain for the month of October.
That location has measured 11.6 inches of rain since September 21.
