BRISTOL, CT (WTVB) – Longtime ESPN personality Bob Ley is calling it quits.
The 64-year-old announced his retirement Wednesday after four decades with the all-sports network. Ley will officially hang it up at the end of this month.
He is ESPN’s longest-tenured anchor, having joined the network on its third day of operation on September 9, 1979.
