BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Six persons were taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital on Tuesday night following a two vehicle crash at Barnhart and Hodunk Roads.
The Michigan State Police say the crash took place just before 9:00 p.m. when the driver of a 2020 Toyota Corolla ran a stop sign and collided with a 2013 Honda Accord.
After the impact, the two vehicles rolled over and came to rest in a field.
Coldwater firefighters and Life Care Ambulance were also dispatched.
There was a request made for both the Air Care and Samaritan Helicopters to fly to the scene but they were unable to because of icing conditions.
There were five persons in the Toyota and one in the Honda.
One of the passengers suffered a broken arm. Everyone else suffered what were called minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
