BOSTON, MA (WKZO AM/FM) – The Boston Bruins rolled to a 5-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings Thursday night.
Patrice Bergeron found the back of the net for the first time this season. The Bruins captain scored four goals in the win. Mike Reilly also scored for Boston.
Lucas Raymond scored the lone goal of the game for Detroit. Jeremy Swayman needed to make just 14 saves of 15 shots for the win. Thomas Greiss stopped just 32 of the 37 shots he faced for Detroit.
The Bruins are now 5-and-3 while the Red Wings fall to 4-5-and-2 with its fourth straight loss.
The Red Wings wrap up their four-game road trip tomorrow in Buffalo and then host Vegas on Sunday.
