BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Driving on Branch County roads became treacherous early Monday night as numerous accidents and slide offs were reported after a quick burst of heavy snow went through at about 5:30 p.m..
It was just enough snow to make the evening commute a white knuckle drive on the slick roads.
The 911 Central Dispatch log showed that there were seven property damage crashes and nearly a dozen slide offs during a four hour period starting at about 5:40 p.m. which was right after the heavy snow squall went through.
No serious injuries were reported in the crashes although Michigan State Police investigated what was initially reported to be a personal injury crash on northbound I-69 at Girard Road.
