COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In Branch County high school sports, the fall season schedule resumes today following a four day break over the Labor Day holiday weekend. In Boys soccer, in a varsity only game, it’s a county matchup tonight in Coldwater where the Cardinals host the Quincy Orioles at 5:30 p.m. Coldwater has a 4-3 record in early season play while Quincy so far is winless. The Cardinals are ranked 13th in the state in Division 2 in the first rankings of the season by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.
The only other event on the schedule is a volleyball tri-match tonight for Union City with the Chargers and Jackson Northwest at Homer.
