COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In recent years, Branch County government buildings would be closed the day before heading into certain holiday weekends as part of a money-saving furlough day program but that’s not the case anymore, for the time being. So the courthouse is open tomorrow before the upcoming Labor Day weekend.
The County Board of Commissioners today has the first of its two September work meetings. It’s a busy agenda that includes updates on a jail study, the animal control building, and the Community Health Center of Branch County. The session begins at 10:30 a.m.
