We'll have passes for Nite Lites to give away as part of our Match The Bulbs contest beginning next week. Here's what the folks at Michigan International Speedway are saying about it:
Now is the time to get in the holiday spirit
at Michigan International Speedway. Guests will be able to drive through a
five-mile lighted display featuring more than 300 displays and thousands of
lights. The show starts on Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m. and runs through Dec. 31.
“We
are excited to host this premier holiday event at Michigan International
Speedway as the track is transformed for the Nite Lites Christmas Light Show,”
track President Rick Brenner said. “The five-mile light show is a great
opportunity to welcome guests to the local community as we all get into the
holiday spirit.”
Nite
Lites will feature more than 300 displays, including a 12 Days of
Christmas-themed display. Guests will drive through seven lighted tunnels as
the lights dance along to the choreographed holiday music. The show will
feature eight new displays for guests to enjoy.
“Michigan International Speedway is the
perfect venue to host the Nite Lites Christmas Light Show,” John
Spink,
Nite Lites owner
said. “We are excited to transform the speedway into a
Christmas Wonderland with more than 300 displays that guests can enjoy right
from their vehicles. This has transformed into a can’t-miss event for people of
all ages.”
The holiday display will open for cars
beginning Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m. and will remain open every day through Dec. 31,
from 5:30 – 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 – 10 p.m. on Friday and
Saturday. The cost is $25 per car. All veterans and active military personnel are
admitted free Dec. 4. The display will feature two lanes of traffic in 2019 as
guests drive through seven lighted tunnels and more than 10-miles of Christmas
lights lining the five-mile route.
Winter Wonderland and visits with Santa
start Nov. 29. The weekend-only events will be held Nov. 29 – Dec. 1, 6 – 8, 13
