Katherine M. Waterbury, 67, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
She was born January 14, 1953 in Kalamazoo to Elwood and Ethel (DeBray) Winchell. She married Robert Waterbury II on October 12, 1979 and he preceded her in death on June 3, 2018.
Kathy graduated from Pittsford High School. She enjoyed gardening, painting, writing, crocheting and singing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kathy was a member of World Harvest Assembly of God in Quincy where she took pleasure in volunteering for numerous church functions.
Survivors include two children, Marcia (Landry) Horr of Montgomery and Brent (Jen) Yinger of Coldwater; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; and two brothers, George and Gary Winchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and brother, Roger Winchell.
Funeral services for Katherine Waterbury will be held Friday, August 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at World Harvest Assembly of God Church in Quincy with Pastor Darrin Brown officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading. Social distancing and face coverings are required for indoor gatherings.
Interment will take place at Camden Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to World Harvest Assembly of God Church.
