COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The start of a new class year for public school students in Branch County and for most of Michigan is a week from tomorrow, the day after Labor Day, although St. Charles Borremeo in Coldwater and St. Mary’s of Assumption in Bronson began classes last Tuesday.
The Coldwater Community Schools are reminding parents that the Kinder Learning Academy will be hosting an open house on Thursday, September 10 to welcome three and four year old preschool students to the program. The tuition-based Learning Academy program currently has openings and will again provide bussing at scheduled stops for the 2015-2016 school year.
The open house will be held from 10-12 p.m., 1-3 p.m. and 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Lincoln Learning Center. Classes are half-day with the option of Kids Club Daycare within the Lincoln Learning Center. Classes begin on September 14th and are held Monday through Thursday. Coldwater Community Schools Kinder Learning Academy is open to all Branch County residents.
The program provides a fun, activity based learning environment, while encouraging educationally based play, physical activity, and skills needed for kindergarten. Teachers in the program are certified in early education.
