COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School boys basketball teams wrapped up their seasons Monday night against Jackson Lumen Christi.
The eighth grade A team finished 11-1 with a 62-39 victory at Lumen Christi. Bennett McDonald poured in 24 points while Gavin Taylor had 12 points while Jackson Reilly had nine points.
The eighth grade B team started out but hot but lost to Lumen Christi 51-28. Ben Uetrecht led the Cards with nine points while Michael Wright had seven points and 13 rebounds.
The seventh grade A team lost to Lumen Christi 63-43 as the Cards finished 10-2 with both losses coming to the Titans. Dracyn Foster led Legg with 21 points while Dayton Ennis and Finn Hanson both had six points. Joe Hayward grabbed six rebounds. Ennis also had four steals and five assists.
The seventh grade B team lost to Lumen Christi 37-16. Rylan Edwards, Austin Stepp and Dylan Smith all scored four points. Mason Sabaitis had five rebounds.
