Allen R. Withers, 74, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021 at ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Allen was born March 4, 1947 in Dowagiac, MI to Roy & Helen Withers. He married Janet Otis on September 16, 1989 in Coldwater.
Mr. Withers worked for Bronson Plastics, Bundy Tubing and most recently Exo-s, from which he retired. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed talking long walks and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Allen is survived by his wife Janet, his children Chris (Teresa) Withers of Battle Creek, April (Kelly) Kruger of Dowagiac, Janelle (Todd) Otis-Bensley of Coldwater, Dale Otis, Jr. of Illinois, David Otis of Coldwater, his brothers Richard (Jean) Withers and Arden (Carolyn) Withers; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
