Marvin L. Keifer, 91, of Tekonsha passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021 at his home.
A celebration of Marv’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2021 at Lighthouse of Tekonsha. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Homer.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 from 12 noon until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m., also at Lighthouse of Tekonsha.
Marv was born October 5, 1930 to James and Wilma (Dailey) Keifer in Branch County, Michigan. On January 19, 1957 he married Marion Manchester in Albion, she preceded him in death in 2003.
Marv worked at the Coldwater Regional Center, retiring in 1988. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, learning how things work, and reading Popular Mechanic and Popular Science magazines. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Coldwater.
Surviving Marv are his daughter, Joyce Keifer of Tekonsha; sister-in-law, Lillian Keifer of Homer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Sharon Keifer; and brothers, Frank, Paul, and Tom Keifer.
