Sandra Kay “Sandy” Pickford, 72, of Burlington Township, passed away at home Saturday, May 2, 2020 under the care of Nikki Palaszeski and Oaklawn Hospice.
No public funeral service is planned at this time.
Arrangements are being handled by Lighthouse Funeral and Cremation, Union City, Michigan.
Sandy was born November 14, 1947 in Battle Creek, MI to Wilber and Ida (Broadhurst) Mead. She grew up in Richland and graduated from Richland High School in 1965, then later lived in Burlington as an adult.
In 1986 she married Russell L. Pickford in Burlington. Sandy was a homemaker who enjoyed reading and watching movies.
Survivors include her children, Terri New of Angola, IN and David (Jean) Priest of Louisville, KY; step-children, Christina Pickford Combs and Michael Pickford, both of Howe, IN; seven grandchildren, Drake, Griffin, Traigh, Rayce, Galateia, Kody and Tia; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bev Moore.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Russ (2019).
