Quincy boys drop home game to Sand Creek, record falls to 1-1

QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles saw their record drop to 1-1 on Tuesday night as they lost at home to Sand Creek, 63-35.

Quincy was led by Ashtyn Morris with 13 points, nine rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Landen Kelly added seven 7 points.

Ryder Schmachtenberger and Sam Sawyer each had five points. Sawyer also had four rebounds, four steals and two assists.

Quincy will be back in action on Thursday at Reading in the Big Eight Conference opener.

Sand Creek also won the J.V. game 45-35. Quincy was led by Alex Barry with eight points.
