Carol Ann Wood, 59, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021, at Promedica Coldwater Regional Hospital. She was born June 29, 1962, in Coldwater, the daughter of Clayton and Stacy (Kent) Clark. She married Larry Wood and he survives.
Carol was a nurse’s aide at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater for 17 years. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, listening to music and watching Penn State football. Carol loved spending time with her family and her cat, Pockets.
Surviving besides her husband, Larry are three children, Shannon (Tom) Sheets, Dawn (Jordan Woodward) Wood and Jeff Wood; grandchildren, Andrew (Caitlin) Sheets, Alaina Sheets, Landon Woodward, Megan, Corey and Lexie Wood, Shelby Blankenship and Sadie Wood; great grandchildren, Riley and Owen; sister, Deb Chatfield; and brother, Kim (Deb) Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Wood; and brothers, Clayton Clark Jr. and Larry Clark.
Funeral services for Carol Wood will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Julie Yoder-Elmore officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 3:00 PM until the time of service. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
