Tana Toni Bagley, 73, formerly of Battle Creek, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc.
She will be laid to rest privately at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta with her late husband, Jim, who was interred there in 2016. The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation of Union City.
Tana was born January 28, 1947 in Battle Creek, MI to Burl and Adaline (Riley) Converse. She lived in Battle Creek most of her life, except for a period of years when she resided in Nebraska. Tana graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1965. She was employed as a quality control associate at DENSO in Battle Creek. On August 3, 2001, she married James “Jim” Bagley. Together they enjoyed lake life – fishing, boating, gardening and tending the flowers at their home on Fine Lake. Tana’s family was always important to her.
Survivors include her son, Carl Diekema of Battle Creek; her niece, Charlotte (Mark) Coffman of Tekonsha; her nephew, Bill Converse of Battle Creek; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four great nieces and nephews; and one great-great nephew.
In addition to her husband, James “Jim” Bagley, Tana was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Traci Diekema; her brother, David Converse; and a nephew, Patrick Converse.
