Darlin Dean Zimmerman, 80, of Coldwater, passed away Sunday,
January 26, 2020 at his home.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM Thursday,
January 30, 2020 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater with Pastor Matt Jones of
Trees Church in Girard, MI officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen
Cemetery in Girard, MI.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at
Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater from 5:00-7:00 PM.
Darlin was born June 14, 1939 to Vernie Zimmerman and Regina
Zagyva in Quincy, MI. He attended Quincy Schools and was employed at Metal
Powder Components for twenty years until his retirement.
On January 7, 1967 he
married Judy Kyser and she preceded him in death on December 13, 2009.
Darlin
enjoyed hunting, antique cars, antique tractors and just being outdoors.
He is survived by his children Edward (Dawn) Zimmerman of Ocala,
FL, Lila Zimmerman of Denver, CO, and Lauren Keith of Coldwater; seven
grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Judy, he
was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Deena Zimmerman, his brother
Maynard Zimmerman and an infant brother.
