Russell L. Pickford, 63 of Burlington, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family.
Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held. Arrangements are being handled by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Russ was born on May 5, 1956 to Leslie and Edith M. (Ellenwood) Pickford, Sr. in Jackson, MI. In 1986 he married Sandra Mead in Burlington. Russ worked at Trinity Industries in Union City as a welder, retiring in 2018. Russ enjoyed riding motorcycles and mopeds.
Surviving are his wife, Sandra Pickford, of Burlington; children, David Priest and Michael Pickford both of Kentucky, Christina Pickford Combs of Howe, IN and Terri New of Angola, IN; 7 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, siblings, Norma (Dale) Smith of Missouri, Joy (Terry) McClughen of Coldwater, Mary (James) Adams of Mississippi, Harold (Nancy) Pickford of Union City and Richard (Lesia) Pickford of Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Leslie Pickford Jr., Joe Musselman and Tim Pickford.
