Althea Nancy Paradine, 68, of
Coldwater, peacefully passed away at home Thursday, September 26, 2019
surrounded by her loving family.
Cremation has taken place and
a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Althea was born on February
27, 1951 to Harold and Martha (Blosser) Cunningham in Coldwater, Michigan.
Shortly after graduating from
Coldwater High School she married John J. Manifold on which ended in divorce.
They had two sons; Aaron and Jake.
She later married Jack B.
Paradine of Coldwater on July 21, 1984 who became her lifelong partner.
Althea enjoyed their lake home
which included long walks with their beloved pups, boating, fishing, and
raising a bountiful garden every year. She was know as a gracious hostess who
enjoyed entertaining family and friends. One who was always willing to help
however she could and to share whatever she had.
Above all else, Althea will be
remembered for her great love and devotion to her family.
After the boys were grown, she
enjoyed working many years for Harlold and Jane Schultz at the Shoppers Guide;
finishing her working career at the Walmart Super Center; both of Coldwater.
In addition to her husband
of 35 yrs, Jack Paradine; Althea is
survived by her sons Aaron Manifold and Jacob Manifold both of Coldwater, her
siblings; Harry (Sandy) Cunningham, Ann (Tim) Claar, Jim Cunningham all of
Coldwater, Debbie Cunningham of Fremont, Michigan, Rob (Cherie) Cunningham of
Angola, Indiana, and Burke (Dawn) Cunningham of Huntington,Vermont; and her
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by
her parents.
