COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The new $28 million Branch County Jail has a part of the old jail when it was located in downtown Coldwater years ago.
Sheriff John Pollack pointed out to County Commissioners during an update on the new jail at last week’s work session that a sign from the downtown jail was saved years ago and is now displayed at the recently opened facility.
Inmates are now housed in the new jail after they were moved from the old jail last Friday.
