James “Jim” Michael Printke, 62, of Coldwater, passed away on
Sunday, July 28, 2019 at his home.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 3,
2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM at Bill’s Grill House in Coldwater. The family is
being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Jim was born November 11, 1956 in Coldwater to Frank and
Barbara (DePew) Printke. He was raised by Rose Printke as his mother sadly
passed away during childbirth. Jim worked as a machine operator for many years
with many different companies in the Coldwater and Bronson areas.
Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved coaching and
watching baseball, cooking Thanksgiving turkey and baking cookies. He also
loved woodworking, which he had made many walking sticks. His greatest love was for his children and
grandchildren.
Jim is survived by his father; Frank (Wanda) Printke of
Coldwater, his children; Jena L. (Rob) Thorp of Quincy and Sean (Jaylee Miller)
Printke of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren; Emalyn, Ethan and Elliot
Thorp, his sisters; Cathy (Wayne) Grissom of Coldwater and JoAnn Kehoe of
Coldwater; his niece, Niki (Joe) Hoard and his nephews; Terry Lee Modert and
Chris Modert. He was preceded in death by his biological mother Barbara Printke
and his mother Rose Printke.
