Teresa Lynn Lewis, 55, of
Bronson passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019 at her home after her courageous fight
with ovarian cancer.
The family will hold a Celebration
of Life on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2 – 5:00 PM at the Quincy Event Hall, 87
W. Chicago St., Quincy, MI. Cremation
services were provided by Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Teresa was born April 20,
1963 to Robert and Edna (Rockemann) Swathwood in Fort Wayne. She earned a
Bachelor of Arts from Spring Arbor University. Teresa worked for 15 plus years
at the Three Rivers Domestic Abuse Programs. She most recently worked at the
Home Depot of Coldwater.
Teresa had many interests
in life; she enjoyed reading, craft work, and gardening. She also enjoyed
traveling to watch her sons play sports while they were growing up. Her true
joy in life was her family, especially her granddaughters. She will be
remembered for her loving, caring and unique personality.
Teresa is survived by
her mother Edna Workman of Sturgis; her sons Josh Lewis of Quincy and Rob
(Megan) Lewis of Coldwater; her sisters Sheryl (Rod) Smith of Bronson and Tina Hammel of Bronson, her brothers David
(Christina) Swathwood of Lafayette, IN and Mike Swathwood of Cedartown,
GA, her granddaughters Maria Lewis, Taylor Lewis, Mila Santamaria,
and Micah Lewis, her nieces &
nephews Chris (Colette) Swathwood,and their children Tysen & Abrum, Dawn
Krause, and her children Kristopher & Kalie Guentert, Brandon Smith, Brad (Cheyanne) Smith and their children Ellie & Sterling Smith, Austin (Bri)
Hammel, Brooke Hammel, Nick & Jon
Swathwood, and their children. She was preceded in death by her father Robert
Swathwood. Memorials may be directed to The Family.
