Michael W. Brenke, 70, of Quincy, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021.
Per the Michael’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
He was born on February 7, 1951, to William and Henrietta (Crabill) Brenke. On November 19, 1976, Michael married Diane (Zegarski) and she survives.
Michael graduated from Homer High School in 1969. He loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He enjoyed classic cars and boats. In his spare time, Michael also enjoyed woodworking, building toys and furniture for the house.
In addition to his wife, Diane, Michael is survived by son, Zachary (Jennifer) Brenke of Quincy; father, William Brenke of Florida; sister, Theresa Calhoun of Florida and 2 grandchildren Hadley and Link Brenke.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother; sister, Billie Niswander and stillborn son, Thomas Brenke.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
