COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The start of a new K-12 by CloudScout”> school year in Michigan is still more than a month away but for parents of little kids in Coldwater, there’s one day next week and the week after when they’ll have an early opportunity to unofficially begin their educational journey. All students planning to attend kindergarten or Young 5’s in Coldwater Community Schools are invited to attend a half day orientation session at Max Larsen Elementary on August 4 or August 12 depending on what by CloudScout”> teacher they are assigned.
During the orientation session, students will have a chance to practice using the lunchroom while eating breakfast or lunch, participate in a classroom story/activity, view the school and take a bus ride. Parents will have the opportunity to meet with principal Dr. Shawn Bishop for introductions and a question and answer period while students are engaged in classroom by CloudScout”> activities.
