SHERWOOD, MI (WTVB) – A single wide mobile home in Branch County was gutted by fire last night. The Sherwood Fire Department received the alarm at shortly after 6 p.m. When they reached the scene, the structure at 1115 Oliverda Road at Dotson Drive was engulfed in flames. Firemen were advised on arrival that everyone was out of the home.
The 9-1-1 Central Dispatch log shows the last firefighters didn’t clear the site until after one a.m. this morning. No injuries were reported and there’s no word on what sparked the blaze.
Michigan State Police assisted with traffic control.
