COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The halfway point of 2015 financially for the Community Health Center of Branch County shows the hospital in Coldwater has a net income for the year that is eight times more than what was expected when the administration put its budget together. The June finance committee report reviewed at last night’s CHC Board of Trustees meeting indicated a profit to date of $481,000 compared to the projection in the spending plan of $60,000. The Health Center’s net income last month was $27,000 compared to a prior year loss of $153,000.
CHC has a goal of making 2015 a turnaround break even year on the books after suffering through losses that totaled more than $7 million for 2013 and 2014.
