COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It’s the kind of thing that can happen on hot sticky summer nights on weekends….fights and arguments and early today in Coldwater, City Police were called to the Cadet Motor Inn on East Chicago Street. 911 received a call around 1:20 this morning from someone at the motel who said he had been assaulted by 4 or 5 people outside his room. Life Care responded to the scene and a 43-year old man was found to be injured, suffering facial lacerations. He was taken to the Community Health Center of Branch County for treatment. There’s no word on any arrests in the incident.
