Caitlyn “Catie” Ross, 29, of Comstock Park, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022. She was born October 17, 1992, in Marshall to Floyd Smith and Julie Mains.
Catie graduated from Franklin High School and was employed at Rapid Engineering in Comstock Park. She loved spending time on any lake or in the snow. She was an avid reader and loved Tim Burton films, especially the Night Before Christmas. Catie loved her family, especially playing with her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her father, Floyd (Patricia) Smith; mother, Julie (Ross) Mains; siblings, Micayla (Andrew Johnson) Ross, McKenzie (Noble Schultz) Wassa and Lance Smith; special relative, Kayla Guernsey; grandmother, Debrah Fegley; aunt, Shirley VanVleet; nieces and nephews, Kierstyn Johnson, Lynken Wassa and Teagan Wassa; and many cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, JE and Claudia Smith; great grandmother, Delores Dooley; aunt, Marjanna Smith; and boyfriend, Kyle Osmolinski.
A memorial service for Catie Ross will be held Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with Pastor Mark Case officiating. A celebration of life will follow immediately after the service at the Lamp Lighter in Coldwater. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
