SHERWOOD, MI (WTVB) – Four Branch County law enforcement agencies joined forces late last night and early today to make five arrests following a narcotics investigation in Sherwood Township. The Sheriff’s Department obtained search warrants for two homes in the 1,300 block of Cherokee Drive, where they took the suspects into custody.
Deputies located methamphetamine and marijuana along with evidence of delivery of meth as well as drug paraphernalia. Two women and three men were arrested on various drug charges in addition to probation violation and disorderly conduct.
Deputies were assisted by Branch County Sheriff’s Reserves, Coldwater City Police, Union City Village Police, and Michigan State Police.
