COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Maple Lawn Medical Care and Rehabilitation Facility in Coldwater recently held their annual Employee Recognition Banquet to honor all the spotlight and awards employees for their hard work and dedication to the long-term care and rehabilitation facility. Retirees, those with perfect attendance, years of employment, and staff of the year were recognized during the banquet.
Named 2014 employee of the year was Keri Zimmerman, support staff of the year for the facility was Travis Wood and supervisor of the year was Olena Smith. Two people were recognized for 25 years of service including Shelley Downer and Rebekah Thomas.
Recognition was also given for those that have reached one, five, and ten years, as well as those that have reached other milestones. Maple Lawn Administrator, Jayne Sabaitis was stated as saying, “Your dedication, determination, hard work, high standards, and values have guided us in our growth and has maintained our superior reputation in the community. Thank you for your commitment to excellence and integrity.” Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility has been recognized by the governor and other agencies for providing quality care through extended-stay nursing care to seniors with varying levels of disabilities. Rehabilitation services are also available for physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy for short or long term care.
