COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Jeff Budd is getting a 3% pay raise. The Coldwater City Council approved the salary hike this week after a closed session for Budd’s annual evaluation. The increase is retroactive to July 1, 2015 and follows 2% raises both last year and the year before.
Budd’s salary last year was $111,323. He’s been Coldwater City Manager since 2010.
In other action Monday night, the city council reviewed concepts for the redesign of various Grand Street intersections. No action was taken with city staff in the process of receiving easements from affected property owners. The Council agreed to purchase vacant lots at 134 South Clay and 141 Jackson Street and also approved this year’s street mill and overlay program.
The Police Department got the go ahead to purchase two 2016 Ford Explorer Police Utility all-wheel drive vehicles.
