COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Bids were opened this week for several major road and utility construction projects that are scheduled to take place this summer in the City of Coldwater.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker says the big project this summer will take place on South Michigan Avenue between U.S. 12 and Sauk River Drive.
Other projects are scheduled to take place on South Sprague Street between Washington and Perkins, East Washington from Elm Street to South Sprague and Perkins Street from Elm to South Sprague.
Baker said the contractor has been told to work around the Branch County Fair in August.
Baker was pleased with the number of competitive bids that came in.
The projects will include reconstruction with road, curb, gutter, sidewalk, water, sanitary sewer and stormwater improvements.
