TEKONSHA, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — The Michigan Department of State issuing a cease-and-desist order to an auto repair shop for failure to register as a repair facility under the Michigan Service and Repair Act.
S&S Automotive, located at 945 North Main Street in Tekonsha, was found by officials to be performing repairs with an expired facility registration.
After a December 9, 2021 inspection by the MDOS, the owner was found to be performing maintenance, diagnosis and repair service on a vehicle with an expired repair facility registration, which had expired on April 16, 2020.
The MDOS encourages consumers who have a complaint against S&S Automotive to call the Office of Investigative Services automotive complaint line at 517-335-1410.
