COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Longtime local educator Penny Brockway has been named as the new Coldwater Community Schools Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
She will begin her new duties March 1 after her hiring was approved Monday night by the district’s Board of Education.
The position became open after Amanda Miller was offered a position with the St. Joseph County I.S.D..
Brockway served nine years as a principal in Quincy first at Jennings Elementary and then at Quincy Middle School.
After leaving Quincy in late 2014, she worked in the Calhoun Intermediate School District before taking the Superintendents job in Colon where she has worked since 2017.
Brockway will be returning to Coldwater Community Schools where at one time, she was a high school English Language Arts teacher.
