Donald Hoffman, 80, of Burlington, MI, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022, at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo.
Funeral services for Donald Hoffman will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with Pastor Brian Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Litchfield.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the time of the service.
He was born November 15, 1941, in Orlando, Florida to Elmer and Doris (Coate) Hoffman. He married Lynn Cutler in 1969 and she preceded him in death in 2007.
Donald was employed at A&C Carriers and most recently worked for Pipeline Oil in Jackson, Michigan. Donald served his country during the Vietnam Era in the Air Force. He was active in the Vietnam Veterans Association. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tekonsha and volunteered in ministry at the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater. Donald enjoyed building model cars and shooting pool in his spare time.
Donald is survived by two children Eric (Georgia) Hoffman of Camden and Chris Hoffman of Laporte, IN; five grandchildren, Ashlynn, Abbey, Josh, Riley and Jacob.
In addition to his wife Lynn, Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Calhoun County Humane Society.
