ASHLEY, IN (WTVB) – The latest bank robbery in the area occurred this morning in Northeast Indiana. Authorities say it happened at the Farmers State Bank about 8:30 a.m. in the town of Ashley in Steuben County.
Indiana State Police report that three armed men entered the bank and demanded cash. Investigators say they got away with an undisclosed amount of money in a blue colored Ford Explorer and were last seen heading north on County Road 400 West. At this time, no further information is available.
A picture of the suspect vehicle was taken by a security camera. Investigators are asking anyone with any information, or if anyone sees the pictured vehicle, to call the Indiana State Police, Steuben County Sheriff Department, Ashley Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
