COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Graduation season in Branch County wrapped up Sunday afternoon inside a packed Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium, as Coldwater High School officials opted to move the school’s 148th Annual Commencement Exercises indoors with threatening weather predicted to arrive during the ceremony.
A total of 191 students received their diplomas. Zachary DeMeester, son of Mark and Sharon DeMeester, was named class Valedictorian, while Jessica Leviton, daughter of Randy Leviton and Carla VanWormer-Ram, was the Salutatorian. Logan Targgart, son of Doug and Jennie Targgart, received the John Vance Award of Character and Achievement.
