COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The big news coming out of Monday night’s Coldwater Board of Education meeting was the announcement from School Board President Robin Iveson that she was retiring from the Board at the end of June.
Iveson has served as a school board trustee for the Coldwater School District for 13 years and told the Board last night that she has enjoyed her service immensely. However, she said with School Superintendent Dr. Tina Kerr encouraging more participation from the community in the school system in addition to interest being shown from a number of younger candidates, it was a good time, according to Iveson, to pass the torch and give someone else a chance to serve.
Application information for the soon to be vacant board seat will be posted to the district’s website in the near future.
