COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners took an initial step toward realizing energy savings as it prepares to replace a boiler in the Court House, unanimously approving a resolution authorizing a request for proposals from heating system contractors. Those proposals are scheduled to be considered in June, with work to start soon afterwards.
The Commissioners also recognized outgoing Deputy Nick Rose as he concludes 14 years of service with the Branch County Sheriff’s Department – 12 as a road patrol deputy, and the last two as a bench warrant officer. Rose told the Board that it was an honor to work for the county, Sheriff John Pollack, and former Sheriff Warren Cannon.
