The University of Michigan went into Selection Sunday on the bubble, especially after losing to Indiana in the first round of the conference tournament, while Michigan State University was projected a No. 7 seed, according to ESPN.
The 11-seed Wolverines face six-seed Colorado State in the South Regional in Indianapolis Thursday at 12:15 p.m.
Seventh-seed Michigan State is facing 10th-seed Davidson Friday at 9:40 p.m. in the West Regional
The Big 10 managed to get nine teams into the tournament. Gonzaga, Arizona, Kansas, and Baylor are the one seeds.
