QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Village Council approved a three year lease with the Quincy Fire Association on Tuesday night which will allow the association to rent land for training.
The land is in an area surrounding the lagoon structure which is owned by the village as part of their waste water treatment facilities.
The Fire Association will pay one dollar per year to rent the property.
The lease allows the Fire Association to put temporary structures and or equipment on the land that would allow members to train on it.
It would be in effect until December 31, 2025. The lease is renewable upon a resolution by the Village Council.
