COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Road Commission has announced that weight restrictions will be lifted on Branch County roads as of 6:00 a.m. this Monday morning, March 21, 2022.
The weight restrictions have been in effect since February 28 thanks to warming temperatures and thawing conditions.
Maximum allowable axles loading on all Branch County roads are strictly enforced while the weight restrictions are in effect.
Normal legal loads have to be reduced by 35 percent on paved roads and 25 percent on concrete roads for all “Non-Exempt” vehicles.
Those who violate the weight restrictions are given a ticket.
