SAN ANTONIO, TX (WKZO AM/FM) – The postseason run is over for the University of Michigan men’s basketball team.
Villanova is heading to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Mens’ Basketball Tournament. The second-seeded Wildcats knocked off the 11th-seeded Michigan Wolverines with a 63-55 victory.
Jermaine Samuels led all scorers with 22 points for Nova in the win. Justin Moore and Collin Gillespie also reached double digits in points for Villanova.
Hunter Dickinson led Michigan with 15 points and 15 rebounds for the double-double.
U of M finishes the season with a record of 19-and-15.
