QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy High School band left for Walt Disney World in Orlando on Friday morning for a trip they have been planning for since March of 2021.
The Quincy band trip happens every four years but had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The band will make a stop in Indianapolis where they will perform at Indianapolis Artsgarden.
Once at Walt Disney World, the students will participate in the Disney Imagination Campus Workshop where they will be able to play Disney film music and be coached by a professional Disney musician.
The 27 students and the five chaperones will have a chance to visit four Disney parks including Universal Studios before arriving back in Quincy next Thursday.
