COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – the beginning of Spring Break today means there’s very little on the high school sports schedule around Brach County until a week from Monday, April 13 when classes resume for area schools.
After 27 years in Battle Creek, the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s team wrestling finals are moving from Kellogg Arena and next February will be held in McGuirk Arena on the Central Michigan University campus in Mt. Pleasant. The MHSAA has agreed on a 2-year year deal with CMU where the new venue can accommodate not only more people but provides practice areas for competing teams that Kellogg Arena cannot provide.
