KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – Senator Debbie Stabenow is using her spring break to barn storm the state to raise support for her “Hope for Alzheimers Act”. At a forum yesterday in Kalamazoo, Stabenow outlined the bipartisan legislation aimed at helping those living with Alzheimer’s, along with support for those caring for a loved one afflicted with this disease.
The legislation would create new care-management planning for doctors, patients and family members. Companion Legislation has been introduced that would increase funding for research to find treatments and cures.
The Lansing Democrat says her bill is endorsed by the Alzheimer’s Association.
